Inspired by the timeless beauty of irises, this handcrafted wood mosaic transforms a classic floral arrangement into a sophisticated work of contemporary art. Individually cut hardwood pieces come together in a striking geometric composition, creating a beautiful balance of natural warmth, depth, and modern design.

Crafted from walnut, oak, cherry, maple, ash, poplar, and wenge, each wood species has been carefully selected for its distinctive grain and natural colour. The soft ivory blooms contrast beautifully against the rich, dark background, while warm amber and chestnut tones create subtle highlights throughout the petals, stems, and vase. Every element is formed from the natural beauty of hardwood, allowing the grain itself to become part of the artwork.

The faceted glass vase adds another level of craftsmanship, with individually shaped wooden segments creating the illusion of transparent glass through carefully arranged light and shadow. As natural light changes throughout the day, the varying grain directions and geometric surfaces reveal new textures and depth, giving the artwork an ever-changing presence.

Finished with a durable clear satin protective coating and presented in a handcrafted solid walnut floater frame, this elegant botanical sculpture complements modern, Scandinavian, Japandi, transitional, and contemporary interiors.

Whether displayed in a dining room, living room, bedroom, office, or entryway, this handcrafted artwork offers a refined focal point that celebrates both fine woodworking and timeless floral beauty.

Because every piece is created from natural hardwood, variations in grain, colour, and figure are part of its character, ensuring each artwork is truly one of a kind.
